Judging, Bossing, Pimpin'

Last night I was trying to think of a way to not run out of things to post about this month. Some people are posting about things they're grateful for, others are answering reader questions and I guess everyone else is just posting as usual. That's my plan, the posting as usual, except I am worried about the days when I come up empty handed. So, while I was sitting on my couch I tried to thinks of some things I'm good at that I could incorporate here.

Things I am good at:
Writing grad school papers
Knitting the same knit 1, purl 1 scarf over and over
Taking self-portraits with other people
Baking apple crisp
Grocery shopping

As you can see, I didn't come up with much that can be incorporated into blogging. So, I decided to stop thinking about that and turn on the television because hello glowing box, how I've missed you. Michael comes in the room with a bowl of ice cream and a bag of cheetos (please refer to my mad grocery shopping skillz). I don't say anything to him, I just look in his direction, and he says, "stop judging me." And it all makes sense. That is what my blog needs! That is what I am good at! I am a judger! Judging for everyone!

Now being a judger is not always a good thing, but you're lying (Lauren) if you say you're not one. Maybe it's just that you use your judging power for good and like everything and everyone. I, on the other hand, use my judging to point out the fact that 1. I am better 2. I am smarter and 3. I am an asshole. It's fairly simple. My judging, combined with my bossy, makes me the ideal person. Isn't everyone dying to meet and be best friends?

This month I am going to change though. I am going to use the judging for good. In fact, I am going to combine my judging with my bossy and my ability to be a pimp (a totally useful skill) and make it a NaBloPoMo EVENT. I am going to judge and pimp out my favorite websites and then boss you all around in hopes that you'll visit! The fun just keeps getting funner, doesn't it?

Today's website is Exploding Dog. I have been a fan of this website since college and I am quite partial to this drawing. I like that it's literal. I like that it's not literal. I like that I don't always understand. I like that there's blood. I like that I don't always like it. I am a SuperFan of the search bar and think you should all spend some time googling your favorite words. I am partial to "love" "die" and "wish".
